We just wanted to share some of the fantastic creative homework from Yr 2. The children were challenged to use recycled materials to design and make a pirate ship. They also had to be ready to talk about their ship and how they made it. Thank you for all the effort that has gone in to these wonderful models.
Twelve children were chosen to be our SWAT (schools working and achieving together) Ambassadors. They visited Burnley Youth Theatre and joined other schools with workshops in drama and music, finishing with a joint performance. The theme was ‘Wizard of Oz’ and they all looked the part and were great ambassadors for our school.
Year 1 visited Skipton Castle as part of their history work in school. They spent the day finding out about how the castle worked in the days when people lived and there and what took place in each of the different rooms.
