Rock Steady Summer Concert
We had the experience of a Summer Concert from our
Rock Steady Music School bands. Each one of the bands were amazing and to see the confidence of the children on stage was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who came along to the performance and to @RSMusicSchool for working with the children.
Cricket Champions
After being crowned Pendle cricket champions we were invited to participate in the Lancashire cricket finals in Liverpool. Twenty five other schools took part in a very competitive tournament. We are really proud of our amazing cricketers for finishing as one of the top eight cricket teams.
School Food Showdown
At Walverden we celebrated 'Healthy Eating Week' with a fantastic assembly where two teams went against each other to cook the healthiest, tastiest dish, with the ingredients they were given.

Rainbows in School
Here are some examples of the rainbows that we designed in school with the children that have attended during the Coronavirus situation. The rainbow is a symbol of hope something that is really important at this moment in time.
These will be going up around school and in the homes in the local area for people to see in order for people to spot.
