Christmas Fun at Walverden
Fri 18 Dec 2015Lots of activities have been going on in school this week. we have had Nativity performances, carol concerts, the school choir singing at different venues, 'Always Children' assemblies and lots of other fun times. Thank you to all the parents who have supported all the different events.

Choir Singing for Age Concern
Fri 11 Dec 2015On the 11th December 2015 our school choir demonstrated their singing skills at Age Concern in Nelson. They sang a range of carols and wished the members a very Happy Christmas!. Well done to all and thanks to the staff who supported this visit.

Year 5 Global Food Cafe
Wed 09 Dec 2015On Wednesday 9th December the children in Y5 organised and ran a Global Food Café. The children designed their own menus and made the food themselves all based upon different countries around the world. Parents were then invited to come along and try some of the fantastic food.
